1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the XAT Web application, Android APK, or associated relay infrastructure, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the software.
2. Description of Service
XAT is a client-side cryptographic messaging protocol and untrusted relay interface. The service facilitates the relay of client-encrypted payloads (AES-256-GCM encrypted envelopes) between peer clients. The servers operate purely as an ephemeral blind message queue.
3. User Responsibility & Cryptographic Keys
- No Account Recovery: You are solely responsible for retaining and safeguarding your Channel Keys, Master Passwords, and 6-Digit PINs. There are no password resets or recovery hotlines.
- Local Data Custody: All chat logs, decrypted media, and voice notes reside exclusively in your local device memory or local encrypted database. Clearing device storage irrevocably erases local history.
4. Prohibited Activities
While the XAT architecture is mathematically incapable of reading message payloads, users agree not to use the relay infrastructure to:
- Launch Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, flood relay endpoints, or disrupt relay availability for other peers.
- Distribute malicious automated bot scripts targeting relay endpoints.
- Engage in unlawful exploitation or harassment.
5. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall PANAS NETWORK or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data, unauthorized device access, or communication disruption) arising from the use or inability to use the software.
6. Modifications to Service
PANAS NETWORK reserves the right to modify, upgrade, or deprecate relay endpoints or protocol specifications at any time to preserve network security and cryptographic integrity.
